Christmas Gifts for Watch Lovers – What to Buy Them
It’s often hard to know what to get someone for a Christmas gift or the holiday season, and it’s even harder to know what to buy for a watch enthusiast. You might be scared to buy them a watch in case it doesn’t fit their style, and often it feels like a lot of money to spend on something you’re not sure about. Our members are all watch lovers so we can help! This is a short list of things you might not have thought of that will make the perfect Christmas gift for a watch collector or enthusiast.
Watchboxes
Everyone who has more than one watch needs somewhere to keep them safe. We’ve written about keeping watches safe here and one of the simplest ideas is a smart watch roll or watch box. As someone who uses a watch roll for travel and a watchbox at home, I recommend both. We’re lucky enough to offer discounts for Members to a fantastic British watchbox maker, Rapport London, and recommend their high quality products for anyone looking for something similar.

Other Watch Accessories
Now many a watch lover will have a variety of straps, maybe a watch tray and a few other things to enhance the enjoyment of wearing their watches. There are many places to buy these things online, but we’ve found two partners with a wide variety of options that can help you narrow it down. The first is 1010 Boutique, a store based in Northern England who really care about watch lovers finding the right accessories. Members of The Watch Collectors’ Club qualify for a broad and generous discount on all purchases from them and they are very happy to answer any questions you might have.
We also love Watch Gecko, who have a large straps business, a great online magazine, and they also sell their own range of watches – Geckota.

Watch Magazines
There are a few traditional watch magazines remaining and a subscription to one will not disappoint a watch lover. We’ve got a great relationship (and member discounts) with Europastar, a Swiss magazine that focuses on the business of the watch industry. We also recommend Oracle Time, published here in the UK. Globally, you can also find WatchPro, Revolution and WatchTime available in different countries.
Gift Membership of The Watch Collectors’ Club
This is the perfect time to gift an annual membership of The Watch Collectors’ Club. Members get access to regular and exclusive events in London and online, partner discounts, educational resources, and the chance to talk through their collection with Co-Founders Hamish and Ed. We meet almost every week in-person in London and we’ve built a fantastic community of people who share their passion for watches with each other and explore the watch world. We try on watches, learn what excites people, share news and opinions about new releases, all in a fun, friendly and inclusive atmosphere. A year’s membership starts from £75 and is a great gift for someone who wants to explore the watch world further and share their passion with others.
