The Manchester Watch Show 2024 Exhibitor Terms and Conditions
Exhibitor: Any individual, business, or entity that has applied for and been accepted to display products or services at The Manchester Watch Show.
Organiser: The Watch Collectors’ Club Ltd. 71 -75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ
Event: The Manchester Watch Show, taking place on Saturday 9th November 2024
Venue: The physical location where The Manchester Watch Show will take place, as detailed in the event information.
Exhibition Space: The area assigned to each exhibitor, consisting of one standard trestle table, as specified in the exhibitor’s contract.
Trestle Table: A collapsible table provided to each exhibitor for displaying products or materials. The average dimensions of a standard trestle table are approximately 6 feet (183 cm) in length, 2.5 feet (76 cm) in width, and 2.5 to 3 feet (76–90 cm) in height.
Exhibition Details
Date of the Show: November 9th 2024
Location: Halle St. Peter’s, 22 Blossom Street, Ancoats, Manchester, M4 6BF
Exhibition Hours: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Exhibitor Setup Time: 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM
Exhibitor Teardown Time: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Exhibitors must vacate the venue by 6:00 PM)
Standard Space: Each Exhibitor will be provided with one standard trestle table and one black table cloth. Dimensions: 6 feet (183cms) by 2.5 feet (76 cm). Decisions on the table plan are at the discretion of the Organiser.
Confirmation and Payment
All Exhibitors must have paid the full amount as per the latest invoice to take part in the show.
Payment of said invoice denotes acceptance of these Exhibitor Terms and Conditions.
Payment is non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organiser.
Exhibitor Conduct and Setup
Exhibitors are responsible for their own setup, display materials, and ensuring their area is tidy and safe.
No additional displays or tables are allowed unless pre-approved by the organiser.
All exhibits must be fully set up by 11:45 AM. Late setups may be denied entry.
Exhibitors may not dismantle their exhibit until the show officially closes at 5:00 PM.
Exhibitors must leave their area in the same condition as it was found.
Liability and Insurance
The organiser is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to exhibitors’ property, equipment, or goods.
Exhibitors must arrange adequate insurance coverage for all aspects of their participation, including but not limited to public liability insurance, employer’s liability (if applicable), and cover for loss, theft, or damage to their exhibits or personal property.
Public liability insurance must cover any injury to members of the public or third parties as a result of the exhibitor’s products, displays, or equipment during the show.
Exhibitors are also responsible for ensuring that any equipment, products, or items they bring comply with health and safety standards, including electrical safety and fire regulations.
Exhibitors will indemnify and hold harmless the organiser, the venue, and their agents from any claims, demands, losses, damages, or expenses arising from their participation in the event, including but not limited to injury, property damage, or breach of these terms and conditions.
Cancellations
If the exhibitor needs to cancel, no refunds will be provided. In some cases, the organiser may allow the exhibitor to transfer the booking to another event, subject to availability.
If the event is cancelled by the organiser, a full refund will be given.
Health and Safety
All exhibitors must comply with health and safety laws, including but not limited to fire regulations and safe electrical use.
Exhibitors are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of their exhibit space throughout the event.
Use of Space
Exhibitors are limited to the space of their allocated table and may not encroach into walkways or other exhibitors’ spaces.
No amplified sound, lighting, or other potentially disruptive displays are allowed unless approved by the organiser.
Marketing, Filming, and Photography
Exhibitors may promote their participation in the event but must not use the event’s name or logo without prior approval from the organiser.
The organiser may photograph, film, or record the event for marketing, promotional, or archival purposes. By participating in the event, exhibitors grant the organiser permission to capture images, videos, or audio recordings of their exhibits, displays, and any interactions during the show.
Exhibitors consent to the use of these images, videos, or recordings in any media, including but not limited to print, digital platforms, social media, and advertising, without further approval or compensation.
Exhibitors who do not wish to have their personal image or specific products recorded should inform the organiser in advance. The organiser will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests but cannot guarantee exclusion from all media coverage.
Exhibitors may not obstruct or interfere with the organiser’s photography or filming activities within the event space.
Damages
Exhibitors are responsible for any damage caused to the venue by themselves or their staff during setup, teardown, or the show itself.
Force Majeure
The organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, or delay due to causes beyond its control, including but not limited to strikes, natural disasters, or government regulations.
Compliance with Laws
Exhibitors must comply with all local and national laws and regulations applicable to their participation in the event.
Amendments
The organiser reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Exhibitors will be notified of any changes.
Termination
The organiser reserves the right to terminate any exhibitor’s participation at any point for non-compliance with the terms and conditions.
